Entering and Leaving the Mainland

Hong Kong residents travelling to and fro Mainland is subject to the "Interim Measures for the Control of Chinese Residents Travelling on Private Business to or from Hong Kong or Macao" issued by the Ministry of Public Security (hereinafter the "Interim Measures"). In accordance with the "Interim Measures", Hong Kong residents are required to apply for the "Re-entry Permit" issued by the Guangdong Public Security Office. According to the public security authority, Hong Kong residents with a valid Re-entry Permit are not subject to duration of stay and prohibition from working in Mainland China.
